Lyrical digression:

The Magic Mirror, containing a tortured soul known as the Spirit of the Magic Mirror within, is a mirror that gives the Queen advice and can answer any question, the most common one being "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?". The Spirit of the Magic Mirror is not inherently evil, rather it is an obedient servant who will do whatever it is told. It is shown to have little to no emotion, which is emphasized by the dull, monotonous tone in his voice. 

There are some real historical facts of this story:

German scholar Karlheinz Bartels suggests that the German folk tale "Snow White" is influenced by Maria Sophia Margaretha Catherina von Erthal, who was born in Lohr am Main in 1725. After the death of Maria Sophia's birth mother in 1741, her father Philipp Christoph remarried. Claudia Elisabeth von Reichenstein, the stepmother, was domineering and greatly favored the children from her first marriage. The Queen's iconic mirror, referred to as “The Talking Mirror,” can still be viewed today at Spessart Museum in the Lohr Castle, where Maria Sophia was born. The mirror was likely a gift from Philipp Christoph to Claudia Elisabeth. It was a product of the Lohr Mirror Manufacture. The mirror “talked” predominantly in aphorisms. The upper right corner of “The Talking Mirror” contains a clear reference to self-love. Moreover, mirrors from Lohr were so elaborately worked that they were accorded the reputation of “always speaking the truth”. They became a favorite gift at European crown and aristocratic courts.

 HOW TO USE THE MIRROR

  1. Rez Magic Mirror on the floor and adjust the height.  
Click SIT HERE and touch the Mirror to get the menu.

2. The menu includes 4 scenes and Utilites menu (you can adjust your position, ect.) 

"Take a look" scene - magical aura surrounds the mirror (animation "look in the mirror")

"Spell" scene - mirror shows an animated image (avatar plays animation "cast a spell")

   

"Profile" scene - mirror shows a profile picture (just click on it to add your picture)

 

 "Magic slave" scene -  summon the Slave of Magic Mirror (talk to him in the local chat)

HOW TO USE:

1. Rez Easel on the floor and adjust the height. Touch the easel to take brush, palette (click accept to take item) and to see the menu with posing animations. 

2. Touch the picture to see the menu with paintings. You can add your own images into easel content.

3. Click on the picture Right mouse button and
choose EDIT

 

2. In the top menu choose CONTENT and drag the image from your inventory into this folder.

3. You can also delete images from easel. Right-click on the name of the picture in Content folder and choose Delete.

4. Exit edit mode and click on the picture again. Now you will see the name of your picture in the menu.

 5. Click on the picture Right mouse button and
choose Sit Here. You will see the drawing animation.

6. Look in your recent inventory and ADD received items (brush, and palette). 

7. Drawing animation now looks much better.

 

8. Second avatar who sits on the easel will play the posing animation. 3 poses for men and women in the menu. Also you can
change the artist and model places. Click on swap option.

HOW TO USE:

1. Rez Heart on the floor and adjust the height.
Click on the arrow to on/off a hearts participles.
Click on the heart shape to choose one of 2 scenes:
* Active dances (8 sync dances) - rezz dance symbols for 4 couples. 
* Slow 1 - dance symbols for 4 couples. In this scene only one slow couple dance.  
- touch the beam of light to see a menu with list of dances and on/off rotation.



When you rezz scene you can sit on the glowing symbol to start dancing. Just click on a beam of light to see a menu with list of dances.When someone sit on the symbol they start out in the "Sway" dance. They will not be in sync with others already on the dance scene. There are three ways to get everyone in sync. Anyone can pick a new dance from the menu list. or use the "Re-sync" bottom, or select the same dance again.

How to use totem

 

 

1. Rezz totem and place it on the ground. Touch the top of the totem to see the menu. Choose one of 4 scenes:

  * Circle(4) - dance symbols for 4 persons (without rotation)
* Circle(4)rot - dance symbols for 4 persons (with rotation)
* Circle(8) - dance symbols for 8 persons (without rotation)
* Circle(8)rot - dance symbols for 8 persons (with rotation) 

 

2. When your scene appears touch the ray of light to see the menu with dances. Sit on
glowing symbol to start dancing.

 

When someone sit on the symbol they start out in the "Sway" dance.  They will not be in sync with others already on the dance scene.  There are three ways to get everyone in sync.  Anyone can pick a new dance from the menu list. or use the "Re-sync" bottom, or select the same dance again.

3. Click on the bottom of the totem to on/off a fog. 

Rezzed scene will disappear in an hour  for not to take extra prims.

This is a 1 prim table with a menu where you can choose one of the three scenes:
1. Fruits on the plate
2. Tray with champagne
3. Tea and cake.

How to use:

1. Rezz table and place it on the ground. Touch the table to see a menu.

2. Fruits on the plate scene. Touch any apple to get item.
You must click Accept to get apple. 

3. Look in your recent inventory and ADD received item. All food usable with eating/sipping animations.

4. Tea and cake scene.
Touch cake and tea pot to get item. 

 5. Tray with champagne scene. Touch glass to get glass of champagne. Touch the wickto on/off candle.
